Growing with Music Together is a licensed center with Music Together®, an internationally recognized early childhood music program. Offering classes in Fredonia and Silver Creek, Growing with Music Together runs year round classes for very young children, babies to first graders, and their caregivers. Based on the philosophy that children learn best through play, classes are fun-loving, hands-on music experiences that build upon childrens' natural love of music while aiding cognitive and motor development. Music classes enhance the special bond between child and caregiver; no music talent is required.
Barlow Vineyards, a working farm owned by the same family for four generations, is a small farm by today's standards. Just 13 acres of the finest fruit-growing soil located on the old bed of Lake Erie, it is the size that sustained a family in the mid-19th century. Its crops are Concord and Niagara juice grapes, apples and berries. Several vegetable gardens provide a "farm to table" lifestyle with foods grown by sustainable methods, similar to those of past generations except that a tractor, rather than the horse, pulls the plows.
